The Launch Of The Southern India HUB Of Christianity: A Must Read!

New Life Assembly has become one of the great missionary sending churches of the 21st Century. Their strategic vision is to help plant another 25,000 new churches by 2020 in India. After the Global Missions Convention, the Southern India Global HUB of Christianity was launched with more than 1,200 pastors/leaders. The three-fold purpose of a HUB is to synergize the best relationships, systematize the best training and strategize for unreached peoples. The overarching plan of a HUB is the teaching of the Global Church Training Curriculum (the top 30 courses of the Global Church Learning Center) over a 24 month period of time. Upon the completion of their training, these pastors/leaders will be empowered to begin their own HUB in their respective villages, towns or cities.

The Elmer Towns Legacy Library was also featured at the Southern India Global HUB of Christianity and made available to all the pastors and leaders who attended the summit (click here to watch the video). It consists of more than 200 books, 700 hours of video and audio training, hundreds of sermons, scores of pastoral training resource series, commentaries on every Bible book, under-graduate and graduate courses, handwritten Bible notes, and much more!

More than 15 years ago, there was a passenger train derailment in Mobile, Alabama. As the train left the tracks, it plunged into a nearby river. As you can imagine, the people on board were immediately sucked under the water with the danger of losing their lives.

Approximately 50 people drowned in this horrific accident. On board the train was an elderly couple, who were making their way out while the water level was increasing exponentially every second.

While the husband was swimming with his wife through the train, he saw the head of a baby girl just barely above the waterline. He frantically swam over to the child to rescue her. When he got to the baby girl, he could see through the mirky water that her parents were pinned under the water holding their baby up as high as possible. The baby girl was saved that day but her parents drowned in the terrible train accident. In the dying seconds of the parents, they held up what most dear to them, their baby girl.

As we look around this world we witness the rising tide of sin everywhere, threatening to drown untold millions in the years ahead. We must have the Christian courage to do what we can to save and disciple as many as possible in this generation. Blessings.
